We believe it is time to introduce you to our General Manager, Kiril. If you are a regular, you have seen him around a lot lately and perhaps you would like to know a little more about him. It may take some time to get to know him as his story is rich and endless. Though his roots are in Bulgaria, he considers himself international. He is an explorer and is interested in nature of any kind, especially human, and wellbeing is at the top of his priorities.
He is a tireless traveller and this has led him to visit many exotic destinations like Hawaii, Bermuda, Bahamas, Caribbean, Greece and Chanel islands; see many wonders such as Machu Picchu, the Inca Valley, Titicaca Lake, Pompeii; and stay in the great cosmopolitan cities of New York, Montreal, Miami, London, Paris and Rome. The list is extensive but Kiril believes it is not yet complete.
Kiril brings with him a piece of every place he has visited and the service he has witness in the cruise ships, cafes, restaurants, hotels and bars throughout the world, both good and bad. In his own words “I believe that how you are treated affects how you feel for a long time after the occasion. It is usually difficult to quantify, but just one little thing may turn an experience upside down or make it outstanding.”
We would like to welcome Fabrice Felix (Fab to his friends) to the George, as our new Executive Chef. He will be working with his Assistant, James Avery and supported by London Chef, Arnaud Stevens, Director and Owner of ‘Plate’.
Fab looks forward to launching several new menus, including Breakfast, Fixed-Price for lunch and Grab and Go for our locals and in-house guests. We also have our new A-La-Carte Spring Menu delivering fresh locally sourced seasonal produce to your plate.
